SiteSnap Pro — construction site photo documentation

Cancel your subscription first

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. We can't cancel a store subscription for you. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play before you delete — once the account is gone you won't be able to sign in to stop it.

If you subscribed on the web, the app sends you to Stripe to cancel before it will let you delete. If you are not certain the cancellation went through, check Account → Manage Subscription before you delete.

1. Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the quickest way and it takes effect immediately.

  1. Open SiteSnap Pro and sign in
  2. Go to Account
  3. Tap Security & my data
  4. Tap Delete my account
  5. Type DELETE to confirm

You will be offered a copy of your photos and a data export on the way through, so take those first if you want them. The action is irreversible — once confirmed, your data cannot be restored.

2. Or ask us to delete it

If you can't sign in — or you would rather we did it — email us and we will delete the account for you.

Email: privacy@sitesnappro.co.uk

Subject: Account deletion request

Send it from the email address the account is registered to. That is how we confirm the request is yours — we can't act on a deletion request sent from a different address. We will reply to confirm once it is done.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your sign-in — your email address and password, so the account no longer exists
  • Your profile — your name, company name, company logo and contact details
  • Your photos — every photo you uploaded, including the stored image files themselves and their dates and locations
  • Your sites and jobs — every site and job you created, with their names, addresses and details
  • Your clients — the names, email addresses and phone numbers of clients you added
  • Your snags — every issue you raised or were assigned, and its history
  • Your share links — every client report link you created stops working
  • Your team — your team members lose access, and any invitations you sent are withdrawn

This is not a hidden or recoverable deletion — the records and the image files are removed, not flagged. For how long anything at all is kept afterwards, and the one exception for payment records we are required to retain, see Data Retention in our Privacy Policy.

4. Deleting some of your data instead

You don't have to delete the whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can delete an individual photo, job, site, client or snag at any time, and nothing is hidden or archived — the records are destroyed.

Deleting a photo, a job or a snag also removes the stored image files at the same time. For a site or a client, the records go immediately, but the underlying image files are not yet removed automatically. Email us and we will delete them.

You can also take a copy of everything first — Download all my photos and Export my data are both on the same Security & my data screen.

Your other rights over your data — access, correction, portability and objection — are set out under Your Rights in our Privacy Policy.

5. If you were invited to someone else's account

If you joined SiteSnap Pro through an invitation from a contractor, the sites, jobs and photos belong to their account, not yours. Deleting your account removes your sign-in, your profile and your access to their work — it does not delete their records, and it is not a way to remove photos you took on their behalf.

Photos you uploaded into their jobs stay with the job, and any snags you raised stay on their account, shown as raised by a former team member.

If you want work you contributed removed from their account, ask the account holder — those records are theirs to manage.
